Process Owner (m/w/d) - part- or full-time (temp.)

Your tasks

The Process Owner (PO) is the gate-keeper of an end‑to‑end process, ensuring its performance across all teams and functions. The PO acts within the assigned process as the connecting force that aligns people and decisions to drive value. He works closely with the Process Managers to assess the impact of change requests against the defined process logic.
This position is intended to be filled for one year with a possible extension for another six months.
Core tasks:
  • E2E process design: Define and maintain the end‑to‑end process design, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment across the whole process
  • KPI execution & reporting: Track and optimize strategic KPIs together with Process Experts and Business Controlling as well as the entire Process Management Team
  • Continuous improvement: Analyze process performance and collaboration patterns to uncover efficiency gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Teams’ education: Support teams by explaining process standards and fostering consistent adoption across functions
  • Key interface: Central contact for Process Experts and operational teams to resolve issues and align execution standards 

Your profile

  • Advanced knowledge of one of the Biesterfeld core processes ‘Supplier to Contract’ and/or ‘Lead to Contract’ 
  • Interest in process management and resolving complexities
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed process analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency in creating clear and concise documentation
  • Very good communication skills, both written and verbal in German and English

Our Offer

We would like to fill this position internally with one of our Biesterfeld experts. This position can be filled either with 50% or 100% of a full-time position. The job holder remains in his original company for the duration of this position.
